Blackhall Publishing has its head office in Dublin, Ireland, and maintains editorial and production offices in Cape Town, South Africa and New Delhi, India. The company is a noted publisher of revised laws. Blackhall Publishing has formerly published and maintained the official revised editions of the Republic of Malawi, the Republic of Botswana, the Falkland Islands, the Isle of Man, the Commonwealth of Dominica and the Revised Subsidiary Legislation of Mauritius.

As part of its Blackhall Revised Laws Series the company currently publishes and maintains the Blackhall’s Laws of Botswana, Blackhall’s Laws of Malawi, Blackhall’s Laws of Tanzania, Blackhall’s Laws of Lesotho, Blackhall’s Laws of Zambia, Blackhall’s Laws of Uganda and Blackhall’s Laws of Sri Lanka. These laws are published in bound editions, online and on CD-ROM.

In Ireland, Blackhall Publishing is a provider of services and knowledge to a number of State organizations, including An Garda Síochána (the Irish police force). Through its associated company Lonsdale Law Publishing, it publishes titles under various law categories in Ireland.

In addition to its publishing activities, Blackhall offers a consultancy service to institutions and governments and for several years the company has specialized in providing services relating to statute law revision and law reporting.

In addition, Blackhall provides online content management solutions and has developed solutions in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, SharePoint and other packages.
